Ahnaf Rhythm is a Ph.D. student enrolled in Fall 2026, working as a Research Assistant at the SEAD Lab under the supervision of Prof. Jie Chen. He received his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta, Canada, graduating as the program’s top student, and his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Islamic University of Technology (IUT), Bangladesh. His research interests include engineering design optimization under uncertainty, physics-based modeling, and machine learning. His current work focuses on optimizing electrode geometries for controlling and focusing surface acoustic waves.
